What I find curious is that select members are being targeted and I'm not in the circle or most hated users. Am I not hateful enough or is there some sort of personal agenda against a select few?

I think that for a handful of us.....we have understood the game for a very long time.
Perhaps we are a threat because of the truth we know.
I just never thought I would see the day when posts would disappear and original members would be banned.
What is more disturbing to me is that the correspondence being sent is under the header of the owner here. That smacks of fraud to me. JMO.
I don't think I have ever met a pettier person in my life.
All that hard work down the tubes. I am so deeply grateful that I made the decisions I did early on.
It was a great concept but incredibly poorly managed in my opinion.
I have never seen anyone micromanage like this in my life.

I guess I have missed all the drama....this is the first time in many weeks that I have had an opportunity to sit down at my computer and actually read through all....ok, not all but most, of the threads. The change happened while I was on the road and working off a cell....so I just migrated to this new site and thought that was the end of it. I never went back to the old site till tonight when I saw this thread. WTF......I surely don't understand what all the fuss is about...but then I have been just one of many posters, and never dug too deep into the politics of the site ownership and the franchise.

I'm sooooooo sorry to read all this. It is not good for the community to have another site war going on, it's not good for advertisers, and it certainly is not good for the reputation of CommunitiesBound.....but the person I feel sorriest for is SC, she has poured her heart and soul, her money and her talents into this site. Surely 285Bound, now MyMountainTown, is the most successful and well known of all the Bound message boards....now the very people who gave it life want to kill it. I have to wonder if there was some regret that they ever sold it in the first place and this has given them the opportunity to take it back.......I hope not.....and I hope there can be some resolution.
