No indictment. The Grand Jury has spoken. I thought the DA handled himself and the questions very well, with dignity and aplomb. Now we just have to wait and see how the community reacts. Hoping it's peaceful and that it respects the wishes of the Brown family.
That was never going to happen, not with the race baiters, including the current occupant of the Oval Office, whipping up racial strife ever since the incident. Shots fired, police vehicles torched, liquor stores looted, Walgreens set on fire.
With the first bottle thrown the streets should have been cleared. Given an opportunity to peaceably protest the people of Ferguson decided to behave like the thug Michael Brown instead. I, for one, am not surprised.
I've been wat hing msnbc exclusively since the announcement, even though I hate that I'm contributing to their rare audience. From the beginning till now there are two words that have rarely been spoken by these people... Facts and Evidence. They are instead using their microphone to bash anyone but the people who are burning their city down. Even Obama just made a statement saying that he thinks that they have a right to be angry. But do they really have the right to be this angry, especially given the facts and witnesses who have proven to be liars who just seemed to go along with the mob story.
I feel bad for these business owners who will spend their thanksgiving digging through their burned up futures.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
it's a sad day for America. What I find hard to understand is why residents of their own city would tear up the businesses that serve them. I get that they are angry and feeling that the justice system has not reached the correct verdict. At the end of the day what does burning down your own town, smashing and looting local businesses accomplish? Short term satisfaction followed by businessmen and residents fleeing the city for safer places to live and do business? These rioters are not helping improve their own situation, never mind all of the outside agitators who are just stirring the pot while the story is new and the crowd's anger is at it's peak.
I wanted to believe that the people of Ferguson where smarter than that...
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

They have a need to be angry. It is the only thing that holds the democratic party together. They have been fomenting it for years.
"He was never going to be indicted. The fix was in from the very beginning. All those witnesses, all of them were lying? I feel like I want to hit something, I am so angry at what the GOP has done to this country, we are in the 1850's again. God please protect the folks in Ferguson."
The comments at the end of the tripe written by the reporter shows just how powerful propaganda can be. The problem, at least from the perspective of the left, isn't that Michael Brown was a thief who had no compunctions about using force to steal, isn't that a black teen feels justified in assaulting a police officer and trying to steal his gun to avoid the consequences of using force to steal what doesn't belong to him, isn't that a black teen charged an officer of the law after assaulting him and trying to steal his gun.
No, the problem, from the perspective of the left, is the system that refuses to believe that the cop is the bad guy in such a situation. And that, right there, is one of the many problems with the left in this Union of ours. Michael Brown was not a victim, he was a criminal who was willing and capable of using violence in the commission of his crimes, which put every one else in the community at risk, which is why we hire police officers to protect us from people with that mindset.
Officer Wilson's statements were not inconsistent with the statements of other witnesses. What was inconsistent were the statements that allege Officer Wilson acted outside the law, the ones that said the thug was shot in the back, the ones that said the thug was shot while standing still with his hands in the air, the ones upon which the other thugs in Ferguson seek to justify their actions of violence and thievery. Those are the statements that are inconsistent with the entire body of evidence examined by the grand jury.
But the left doesn't want to hear that, it doesn't fit with their meme of a racial society that they perpetuate in order to continue to receive votes. When the left stops trying to perpetuate that myth, when it stops trying to turn molehills into the Himalayan Mountain Range, when it stops trying to turn a small draw into the Grand Canyon, is when we start making progress towards seeing an end to what happened last night in Ferguson, MO.
It is truly unfortunate that BODY CAMERAS are not required on ALL police personnel that interact with
the public at large....THAT should be the first and foremost item on the agenda for CHANGE....JMO
Well said PS. The other thing that's pretty sad is that Michael Brown is going to be yet another false hero for the black community . MLK must be spinning in his grave.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
