What Would End The Protests?

Taking guesses on when the grand jury will announce their decision. Will it be today, Tuesday, Wednesday or perhaps Thanksgiving Day?

If I were in charge, I'd wait for Thanksgiving Day morning. Nearly everything will be closed up tight and most people will be at home getting ready to go somewhere or getting ready to host lots of people. Would make control of the streets much easier and would give them at least a few hours before the mad shopping surge begins.

I'd say it'll come out today. That'll give a couple of days for everyone to lose their minds before having to ditch the protests to eat turkey and buy the stuff they didn't manage to loot earlier in the week.

BREAKING NEWS.....Jury released, decision announced this EVENING (central time)....family was NOT
notified BEFORE media(they learned from one of CNN'S legal reporter)...(unusual)as is the TIME
OF RELEASE OF INFORMATION (after dark central time).... (WTF)

There's been a LOT of rhetoric about guys like Sharpton and Jackson. There was even one report the FBI found two bombs and arrested members of the New Black Panther Party. It's interesting that the following hasn't received more attention than it has - at least from my perspective.

homeagain, after dark the home field advantage is with law enforcement and night vision. Also gives the law abiding citizens a chance to get home first.

Go ahead if you want to. I posted this from a perspective there are outside forces at work in this incident. I also believe strongly the media has done more to foment the unrest there than anything Obama, Holder, Jackson, or Sharpton have done.

Thank goodness the FBI discovered this beforehand. It also goes to show the outside influences at work here from both sides of this issue. Unfortunately, I've seen more blame trying to be placed at the feet of Obama, Holder, Jackson, and Sharpton, deserved or not, than any of these other groups. That, to me, is a problem.

I'm not worried. The words spoken and written may be somewhat inflammatory, but those doing the acts of violence are the ones to blame. If someone can be goaded into violent acts, then shame on them and show them no forgiveness.

The problem is much of the violence has been fomented and carried out by outside groups in the first place from what I understand. Also, if the KKK has actually made their threats (verified from what I understand), shouldn't they also be considered part of the problem if they carry out those threats? These kinds of posters have been documented. There is currently an ongoing "battle of words" and hacking going on between the KKK and members of Anonymous (not saying they are right either - because they are an outside group, their contribution to the discord is just as bad IMO). If there is, in fact, trouble as a result of the Grand Jury verdict, I believe responsibility for that trouble should try to be determined and those responsible also be held accountable.

Where is the threat?
