Well he recently made a statement telling them to "stay the course"... I don't think that includes letting the legal process work or allowing the cop to live his life if probable cause is not found. Obama also met with Sharpton who is saying that he will push the protests no matter what the grand jury says and DEMAND a federal investigation ala Eric "the race husler" Holder.
If the grand jury does not indict, the president should address the country (like he usually does BEFORE he has any evidence), and call for calm but also explain the consequences of lawlessness. But he won't.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
He's already made enough asinine statements in the past six years. Don't give him any ideas!
Those folks are going to riot regardless. Sounds like Hussein has already met with them to stir them up from some news stories I've seen this past week. Another story this morning that some militant group is offering a reward for the officer's whereabouts - they just want to "ask him a few questions" uh, yeah.
Hope the good law-abiding folks of the town are well armed and well supplied.
Only one thing would end the protests. If Jesus parted the heavens, came down on a fiery chariot with the accompaniment of all the avenging angels, landed right in front of Al Sharpton and said "Knock it off, dipstick. You're in the wrong here."
There would still be some looting at the cell phone and liquor stores though.

So does anyone think the announcement is coming today or will they take a page from history and announce their decision on Saturday instead of during the week?

Good point. And since the rioters are mostly just welfare recipients and blatant criminals, with nothing but time on their hands waiting for an opportunity to steal a new whatever and destroy something along the way. Hopefully peaceful protesters distance themselves from the rioters.
