Impeachment proceedings against Trump

So President Trump has survived the impeachment process. The trial is scheduled to end on Wednesday.

Yes, the House Managers did prove that Trump asked Ukraine to interfere in our elections. Marco Rubio admitted that Trump was guilty of the charges in the Impeachment Articles, that they were impeachable offenses, but he didn't want to remove the President. The statement from Dershowitz on the floor of the Senate is an admission that Trump was guilty of the charges, but that they were not impeachable. The Counsel for the President never really refuted the charges, but rather attacked the process and attacked the Bidens.

You BELIEVE in the Trump. He's on your team, he's the champion of your tribe. You have allowed that misplaced loyalty to blind you to the facts of overwhelming evidence that Trump should be removed.

To repeat Sen. Hirono, (quoted in an earlier post) "Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) has blasted President Donald Trump’s legal defense during the Senate impeachment trial, declaring she doesn’t “care” about his “legal” or “constitutional” arguments.

Evidently the Constitution is something that you don't care about either.

You are putting words in my mouth. I don't hero worship Trump. I think what he did in Ukraine was classless, but hardly a reason to throw him out of office. Giving billions to the terrorist regime of Iran is a much better reason for expulsion from office. The Iranians used that money to supply terrorist groups with explosives they used against American servicemen and women. Almost as bad? Supplying guns to Mexican drug cartels. I think President Obama forgot too often which country he was supposed to be defending.

Update: President Trump is exonerated by 19 votes out of 100 in a mainly partisan way.
Senator Mitt Romney has made history by being the only party member who voted to remove a president from office from his own party. This is the same man that when running against President Obama in 2012 was reviled by the Left. Luckily he prefers to only keep grudges against fellow Republicans.

But after years of the Democrat investigations yielding nothing but embarrassment, the party has decided to go on investigating the Trump administration. Maybe they should work on passing a budget instead? Or serving their home districts?

Good advice, but the Dems are currently looking for the next impeachment because they don't have ideas that work and inspire people to vote for them. Keep watering that dead flower, I'm sure to will come back to life along with your credibility.

I tend not to trust parting shots from ousted officials. If they have an ax to grind, their viewpoint will be slanted. It’s possible that this is true but it today’s “get Trump” environment, it’s hard to believe anything. Russia could put this story out there just to damage Trump’s chances.

LOL, the Democrats must be really worried if they are trotting out the Russians Are Coming articles already. Wouldn't Putin want Bernie Sanders to win? He wants to cut the military in half and bring troops back home. A Sanders administration would be perfect for Vlad.
