The SC recently heard arguments on abortion drugs.

Abortion-rights supporters are sounding the alarm that conservative Supreme Court justices want to use a long-dormant law to enforce a nationwide abortion ban.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito repeatedly invoked the Comstock Act during oral arguments Tuesday in a case about the constitutionality of the Biden administration’s efforts to expand access to mifepristone.

Alito questioned why the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had not contended with the law in its decisions on expanding access to mifepristone through the mail.

“This is a prominent provision; it’s not some obscure subsection of a complicated, obscure law. Everybody in this field knew about it,” Alito said.

The 151-year-old law banned the mailing of materials that were deemed “obscene, lewd, [or] lascivious,” which included things such as contraception, abortion drugs and pornography.

Millions of people flooding our border while Americans are starting to drown in debt due to inflation, and the big issue for some women is whether or not other women can kill their babies on demand. The priorities of some people really baffle me. Suddenly, Europeans seem reasonable.

Wow. You see bogeymen everywhere.

Immigrants are an asset to the economy. They take jobs that people. probably like you, won't do. They pay into SS, even though they can't withdraw, they pay taxes, they buy products, etc. I know that you think they are a drain on the economy, that they are given "free" stuff, but they will find jobs, especially in this economy with historically low unemployment. They will be your dishwashers, gas station attendants, janitors, field workers, you know, the stuff you won't do.

When it comes to taking away a right, we should all be concerned. You want your rights to guns taken away? You want your right to be able to use contraception taken away? Nah, didn't think so, but it could happen, especially if loonytoons Trump gets back in office. Women lost the right to bodily autonomy that had been acknowledged 50 years ago. That should concern you.

Hey, Rick, you don't like abortion? Don't have one. But don't tell me I can't do what I want with my own body.

Those old talking points don’t ring true when it comes to reality. If poor illegal border crossers were so valuable to the country, how come so many cities are having such a hard time finding the funds to house, feed, medicate, etc?

Our country is drowning in debt and illegals are only adding to it. I have to wonder what you’re watching or reading that is convincing you that the 10 million poor people (including criminals and potential terrorists) are actually a net positive.

It won’t be very long until even your leftist sources have to give you the bad news and admit that these ‘migrants’ are hurting us on the whole. I’m currently looking for one of your sources that lay out how well this is working out for us… no luck yet.

Don't like abortion, Rick? Don't have one. Oh, wait - it doesn't affect you yet, so you don't care.

That can change in an instant, perhaps not to you but maybe a loved one.

Good for you, Fred. Feels good to have autonomy over your own body, doesn't it?

Where did you ever see me say I was a Christian? Making wild ass assumptions?
