Welcome Kneb. We will keep track and see how long it takes for you to actually join in on the fun and feel free to vent your frustrations like the rest of us and let loose once in a while. Both the Courthouse and the Ring (especially) are basically setup for just that purpose and yes insults do fly, and believe it or not, many of us who do let them fly, actually get together with our so called opponents and enjoy lunch together or some drink together. The courthouse is where we mostly discuss Politics and it can get heated.
What you actually need to know is that the original poster of this particular thread has been just as guilty of throwing around insults as everyone else, so don't give him a pass either. He will feign innocence, but he hasn't been innocent since he was born many years ago.

It's interesting how you all skip the part about not insulting at all and turn it into "They insult more than we do so we're better."
Major Bean: A new poster would take a look at one of your "tit for tat" posts and think "Now there's a rude piece of scum" and have you pegged as a person who insults.
No, actually this new poster pegs you BOTH as people who insult -- regularly. One is no better than the other, so quit trying to claim the high road in insulting behavior, OK. Just my two cents as a new poster.
Who in the hell said that I DIDN'T try for the good gaff? You have just demonstrated your limited analytical abilities whenever you say that I am claiming some high road or other.
I can see that you are a future insulter/insulted in the making and you are also a liberal.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
