285Bound.com Presidential Election.... Ceremonial Only

Okay, referencing this thread <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href=" 285bound.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4250&start=30 " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4250&start=30<!-- l --> VL said, "Id like to put "president of a local message board" on my resume'

So, with that in mind we now have two people running for 285Bound president. Science Chic and VL. If you have any more nominations we need them in the next few days then we will have an election/poll that ends on November 2nd. Any additional candidates need three nomination and they will be on the ballot.

Here are the presidential perks of the 285bound.com elected president:

1 'get out of Q free' card (VL would need this)
1 'put anybody in Q for 24 hours' card (Look out Viking you are in trouble if VL wins)
Optional, personal thread for 1 year (Oh, no!)
1 year ban free card (We don't ban, but you never know....)
1 delete a post privilege (Once again Viking you better do some campaigning)
At the annual 285bound.com picnic the president gets waited on hand and foot by the owners of the site.

Write in your nominations!

I'd like to throw Viking's hat in the ring.

although I admit, Science Chic does have a brain in her head, and presents pretty good research.

Can I run for VP? I heard it was an easy job, "you don't have to do any thing" - quote VP JB

SC is going to be tough to beat. VL, we may need a smear campaign. I have my operatives working on it. I heard she drives a 71 chevy 4WD pick up with a 454 engine with 300,000 miles that spews out hydrocarbons/CO2 and gets 8 miles/gallon. (and 200 miles per quart of oil!) :) I'll try to get some photos.

I can't wait to see VL's October surprise!!!!!
I like the idea of running mates also. Gives a better platform to run on
I say we all vote on Nov 2 just like the regular election. They can campaign
all the way up to the 1st. Of course VL will probably cheat! LOL.

Surely VL would not try to tilt the scales in his favor?
