Mile markers and road scanner updates.

Many people on here don't know where mile markers are. We all appreciate the updates on closures and accidents but a lot of people don't have any idea where mile markers are and since they can't ask or post on the Road Conditions thread, they have no idea where that is at if they are traveling. Like today, there are incidents at MM's 5, 13, 49. 65. and 149. I don' t know where half of those are and did have firends coming home that way but now with the highway closed it won't matter. But I would love to know where all of those are.

I know there is a list of all the mile markers on all the highways somewhere that would help people. I knnow I use to have it but can't find it. Does anyone have it and can post it and I wonder if there can be a link to that map or list of exists above the Road Scanner Updates page so people can refer to it when their is a mile marker posted and they are traveling? Because it doesn't help people if they have no idea where there is an accident or a road closure. And coming into winter there will be hundreds if not thousands of those posts.

km 32/mile 19.9 Loop Road on right northbound leads to Kiskatinaw Provincial Park. 5 km. 28 camp sites, water, firewood, tables and fishing. Camping fee. Rejoins highway at mile 16.2/km 26

km 48/mile 29.8 Brake check and parking on both sides of highway at top of hill overlooking the Peace River.

km 49.8/mile 30.9(HM 33) Parking with view of Peace River Valley.

km 55/mile 34.2 Taylor Landing Provincial Park. Picnic tables and boat launch.

km 55.5/mile 34.5 Peace River Bridge. 712 meters

km 57/mile 35.4 (HM 36) Taylor. Population 1200. Gas, groceries, accommodations, post office, restaurants. Nestled on the banks of the majestic Peace River, Taylor offers a wide variety of recreation and amenities. A $40 million natural gas scrubbing plant & oil refinery are here at the beginning of a 700-mile natural gas pipeline which supplies Vancouver & western Washington.

I dont have I-25. I don't usually drive on that road anyway. M

The list is at the top of 'Road Scanner Updates'.

When we are trying to post multiple incidents within minutes, we simply do not have time to cross reference everything.

And, we would appreciate input to add mile marker info that is not there!

Wanted to add that we DO appreciate the input, and want to make the information as useful as we possibly can.

We also have some welcome new additions to the team and we are working hard to get things as right as we can for folks.

Does anyone know why the milemarker on 285 for mm 234 Richmond Hill Rd is only on the northbond lane and not on sb? Richmond Hill is my exit but I don't use the mile marker reference when giving directions because it is hard to find and would end up being confusing.
