That can only serve to reinforce the slur in warped minds, and falls flat as a bad analogy in sane minds.

Now, if you had used some other unfortunately common racial slam like maybe Jewish people being extraorinarilly frugal that might be a more proper analogy.

What I am saying is that in her mind it has validity. That is the basis for her unease with the picture and her guilt concerning it. That is the gist of every post that I have made and she has just verified my assumptions.

CG, I'm agreeing with you. Before I quit the Republican party indisgust I was active in the NFRW as well as my precinct so yes, I get all the disgusting emails. Obama as a witch doctor, Obama is a Muslim, Michelles garden is all watermelons, referring to the two daughters as "pickaninnies". it's repulsive and a large part of why I left the party. When I object to these portrayals I am attacked and called a RINO. Well, if I had to choose between my principals and my party I chose my principals. Do I resent the hateful, ignorant racists who have taken over my party? HELL YES. SomedayI have faIth that reason will be restored and Conservatives will once more live up to their name.

Debate is quite different than an argument between husband and wife. A domestic argument is hardly debate.

However, once a debate has been lost, one expects a defense offered for that loss. Nice try.

You have presented quite an example of attributing opinions and attitudes of anonymous "strangers", whether real or fictional, to those with whom you disagree.

None of the examples that you cite have been presented here nor hinted at. You are presenting a "straw man" that you can then destroy. It is an invalid debate technique. Please refer to the "Our Discussion..." thread. Please.
