Then your experience is quite limited, which limits your world view.

What were the riots in Watts several decades ago all about? What was the hubbub about Angela Davis? What was Charlie Manson about? What happened after the Rodney King decision? Where were the Black Panthers popular? Ever hear of Wounded Knee?

You and LJ are living in the sterotypes.

You are an idiot. I can see that plain and clear with my limited world view asshat. My statement was that racism is alive and well in the south which I personally can attest to. You are the moron who decided that was BS because it is also alive and well elsewhere. That did not negate what I said, and although I tried to be polite about your unfortunate mistake, I now have to point out how stupid you are.

O Thanks, MB, I remember the Watts roits well, I lived in Simi Valley at the time. Also used to sneak on to the Spawn Ranch all the time...

You did not say that it was also in the south. You statement was NOT "that racism is alive and well in the south". Below is your quote:

towermonkey wrote: Ah, well I've only lived in the west and the south. The south is much more racist - by a large margin.

You are trying to keep alive an old sterotype, which will not hold up to scrutiny. Racism was and is much more prevelant in the large cities of the northeast, industrial midwest, Great Lakes area, and West Coast. But it is more soothing to depict the evil southerners as the lovers of racism.
Those with closed minds try to limit their information so that their cognitive consonance does not becomd cognitive dissonance.

No, my statement was

I assume that you live in Colorado. You don't see as much racism here as you see in other places. It is still alive and well in the south.

Are you stupid enough to think that because you have lived in more places that you know more about these events?

I quoted you from your post. Take a look and see. I did not alter it in any way.

You, sir, are a liar and further communication with you will cease.

You were the one who set the standard of living in more places gave more knowledge. You were the one who asked if I had lived in the south.
You are just as rubber brained as your significant other LJ.

Below is your quote where you asked if I lived in both places:

That is total BS! It is based upon preconceived notions. Racism is quite alive north of the Mason Dixon line with more enthusiasm than the south.

Really? and you've lived both places?

Now, how are you going to wriggle? and spin?

How would you have answered a person who has no regard for truth or integrity of debate?
