You know, I've had to describe 285Bound as a blog to people when explaining what 285Bound is, but it's so much more than that! :) It is kind of a blog for the whole community, but most blogs don't cover local events, post news from Chambers and local fire departments, have free classifieds...oops, sorry getting into sales spiel! :)

So a blog posts some pictures that are blatant lies/speculation, harm a couple of innocent kids, it is posted here as fact, I point that out and the harm it can do, and I'm the bad guy.

Couldn't forget that! Thanks for listening in on the scanner and posting updates TLGT - it's really cool to hear what's happening in real time.

You aren't the bad guy archer, it was just a misunderstanding and emotions are running high right this moment with everything that's happening.

Heard the story about the bombing victim who pointed out one of the brothers?

And one of the other weird stories out there, a man from West, Texas, ran in the Boston Marathon but was back home for the fertilizer plant plant explosion. Do you feel like you are the luckiest man ever? Or worry if the third time will be the charm?

Jizan, Saudi Arabia
Nationality Saudi Arabia

Known for listed on the Saudi most wanted list

Rayed Abdullah Salem Al Harbi (1988 – October 18, 2009) was a citizen of Saudi Arabia who was named on Saudi Arabia's list of most wanted terrorist suspects.[1][2] He was discovered with Yussef al-Shiri at Jizan, near Saudi Arabia's border with Yemen, while disguised in women's clothing, and wearing suicide vests, on October 18, 2009.[3][4][5]

The two men died in a shootout, as did a Saudi policeman, when a Saudi policewoman was going to search the two "women".[3][4][5] A second policeman was injured. A third man, who has not been identified, and who was not in disguise, was driving with them, was captured. His interrogation led to the capture of six Yemeni accomplices.[6][7] The men were reported to have been members in Al Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula. In addition to the suicide vests they were wearing their vehicle had a third completed suicide belt, and a fourth that had not yet been fully assembled.

Asharq Alawsat reports the men were driving a truck rented in Jeddah, 700 kilometres (430 mi) away.[5] They report the men probably crossed the border at Al-Harth, 190 kilometres (120 mi) away. The individual who rented the truck remains at large.

Is it any different when major networks like CNN or papers like the NY Post finger dark skinned suspects?
