Does anyone honestly believe 2/3's of the Senate will vote to impeach President Trump weeks after he has left office? 16 Republican Senators will vote to remove a removed President?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
President Trump has been impeached for a 2nd time.
The Senate will not convene until next week to hold a trial for the president, according to a spokesperson for Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
Once it has passed in the House of Representatives, the impeachment article will then head for the Senate, where a trial will be held to determine the president's guilt.
A two-thirds majority would be needed there to convict Mr Trump, meaning at least 17 Republicans would have to vote for conviction. As many as 20 Senate Republicans are open to convicting the president, the New York Times reports.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I doubt that. Some of the nation will see him that way, but a lot of the nation will see him as a man who was willing to take on DC and the entrenched forever power base of forty year careers for Senators and Representatives.

Rational people will realize budgets all over the world destroyed fighting to keep countries afloat during this one hundred year pandemic. Plus the budget also has Pelosi's fingerprints all over it. Biden's budget will be even bigger.

So now Joe Manchin is pushing to have Ted Cruz and Josh Harley removed under the 14th amendment. He is truly blind as to what we are facing. If he succeeds with that, there will be an armed insurrection and he will instantly become a target. These leaders need to cool the temperature of the country, not throw gasoline on the flames! This is insane irresponsible rhetoric and is coming from be of the more moderate members. AOC is out there saying she wasn’t safe while locked down during the capitol incursion because she was locked up with white supremacists. Pelosi pushed through an impeachment without a single hearing. It is almost as if they are trying to start a civil war.
