Yes, the check that was written personally by Donald Trump to Michael Cohen after he became president as reimbursement for paying off Ms. Clifford for her silence about their affair for one.

I trust Cohen as far as I could throw him, which doesn't matter one hill of beans. The point is that for anything he says, law enforcement has seized his personal files, his computer, the recordings he made, collected his emails and private messages, bank statements, financial filings, and phone locations. They have the evidence to corroborate or explode each of his claims, and then go further with the stuff he neglected to mention.

You have to realize too, that he testified today about nothing relating to conspiring with Russia. He knows more about that (and likely discussed it in the closed door session yesterday, and will again tomorrow). See here, here, and here.

In addition to Cohen, they have Allen Weisselberg who has agreed to cooperate with the investigation - the man who wrote the checks for the Trump Foundation and was involved in Trump's accounting for far longer than Cohen was around. They also have David Pecker of AMI/National Enquirer, the man/publication which helped suppress negative stories about Trump and amplify attacks on his opponents, cooperating, and have seized all of his information.

The Special Counsel's Office has ample evidence of the Trump family's crimes as alleged by Cohen, and hinted at in the multitude of judicial filings I've posted here in this thread.

Yes, the president was highly unethical in not divesting himself of his business holdings, and working to enrich himself and his business brand while acting as president in ways that break the law is totally illegal (see deliberately over-charging for his hotel rooms during the Inauguration, those records of which are now being requested and reviewed). He hasn't released his tax returns, the first president not to do so in decades. The payoff to Clifford was a crime, even if done through a surrogate (see John Edwards). Just because Trump didn't want to win the election doesn't mean that what he did was legal - he was campaigning to become POTUS. And he won. And continued trying to cover this up, lying straight up to the American people that he knew nothing about it.

Lest we forget, Michael Cohen was also the Deputy Chair of Finance for the Republican National Committee, which released this fun video yesterday:

This isn’t closing the barn door after the horses got out, this is bleaching the entire barn after a bloody murder, burning it to the ground for good measure then turning around and trying to innocently say “What barn?” The RNC doesn't have anything to worry about though, right?
