I cite something that isn't from MSM, because everyone constantly bitches about how bad the MSM is, and now an independent source isn't good enough either? Like I said, you are welcome to remain skeptical until the SCO's report comes out. Me, I've spent a lot of time vetting citizen journalists, former NSA/FBI/CIA sources over the past 2 years by watching what they claim and keeping tabs on whether their claims came true or not, and I trust this report because of that attention I've paid. I'm not asking you to trust me, I'm simply passing along what I see and feel confident in sharing. If Cockburn is wrong, I am more than willing to eat crow and admit I'm wrong, and in the meantime we can discuss anything you want pertaining to this topic.

After nearly 2 years (actually 3 years since the original investigation began at the FBI), do you honestly think that they've found nothing? Trump has refused to release his tax returns. There are 17 investigations + into him and organizations associated with him. His record on spewing lies is unprecedented for his position.

If the president is letting a Chinese madam sell access at Mar-a-Lago to Chinese business people while his friends are getting serviced at businesses she started, he is exposing himself and the country to massive blackmail risk. Surely the IC and FBI are aware of this.

These were sex slaves. They had no choice. They weren't earning the money. They lived at the facility.

A Chinese-American massage-parlor entrepreneur arranged for a group of Chinese business executives to attend a paid fundraiser for President Donald Trump in New York City at the end of 2017, according to a source who was present at the event.

Cindy Yang, whose family owns a chain of South Florida day spas where prostitution is said to have taken place, also runs a Florida-based consulting business called GY US Investments that promises to introduce Chinese investors into the president’s orbit.

The latest Trump political donor to draw controversy is Li Yang, a 45-year-old Florida entrepreneur from China who founded a chain of spas and massage parlors that included the one where New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft was recently busted for soliciting prostitution. She made the news this week when the Miami Herald reported that last month she had attended a Super Bowl viewing party at Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach golf club and had snapped a selfie with the president during the event.

Yang, who goes by Cindy, and her husband, Zubin Gong, started GY US Investments LLC in 2017. The company describes itself on its website, which is mostly in Chinese, as an “international business consulting firm that provides public relations services to assist businesses in America to establish and expand their brand image in the modern Chinese marketplace.” But the firm notes that its services also address clients looking to make high-level connections in the United States. On a page displaying a photo of Mar-a-Lago, Yang’s company says its “activities for clients” have included providing them “the opportunity to interact with the president, the [American] Minister of Commerce and other political figures.” The company boasts it has “arranged taking photos with the President” and suggests it can set up a “White House and Capitol Hill Dinner.” (The same day the Herald story about Yang broke, the website stopped functioning.)

The young representatives would be wise to shut the hell up and learn from an experienced statesman; Pelosi is right to say what she said in the position that she is in. Impeachment should commence when there is sufficient evidence that it's proper to do so, and not before - the SCO is conducting an investigation into whether crimes were committed and about upholding the rule of law, not a witch hunt. The Democrats in Congress should be focusing on what's in their purview as a Constitutional responsibility - acting as a check and balance on the executive branch and conducting investigations into the WH.
