NY, IL,CA , for example, chose to put tax dollars into other endeavors rather than fund legally obligated funds.
Here, in Colrado, we are seeing the debt, that mismanagement of pension funds, PERA. is causing. Be prepared for a tax hike to bail out PERA.
The answer to your question is very simple, taxpayers should not be forced to pay for the mismanagement of these pension funds.

I'm just curious why you would want anyone to not go to those sites? They report news that is unfavorable to your side - something that your garbage left wing sources will not do. I see now why you see everything the way you do.

Simply because, as you put it, they are "garbage sites." They don't even pretend to be unbiased. They twist the "news" to show only one side. Those sites are not journalism, they are propaganda sites.

Should taxpayers be forced to bail out mismanaged companies? Should taxpayers be forced to give more money, via tax cuts, to billionaires? Should taxpayers be forced to give subsidies to oil companies?

Absolutely not! Nor should mismanaged companies be allowed to walk away with funds obtained fromthe government by a bankruptcy .

WHAT A LOAD!.....we have been bailing out EVERY industry there is...in one form or another...for decades.
