". Handing over Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine based on a corrupt election."
This statement is based on a false premise. The referendum in 2008 in Crimea, was legitimate. The population of Crimea, and the 3 oblasts who voted for independence in 2014, are all in large majority ethnic Russians.
In 1954, Khrushchev, the premier of the U.S.S.R,, an ethnic Ukrainian, transferred the territory to the Ukraine S.S.R.. At the time this was little noticed by the U.S. The State Dept of the U.S. held and continues to hold that the U.S.S. R. was a homogeneous monolith. In reality, the Communist Party was the bogeyman not the Russian people. This attitude on the part of the State Department continues to this day. I would refer you to George F. Keenan's - American Diplomacy as a starting point to get an understanding of the issue.
The elections of 2014 were legitimate but not recognized by the U.S. and the E.U. on the basis of violating the Minsk Agreement. That is what can be called, ironic, German and France had stated that they never had any intention to abide by the Agreement from its inception.
I would be appreciative to hear any supporting statements as to why the elections in the new Republics are illegitimate.
K earlier said the EU was donating more to Ukraine than the US. Maybe. This story says these vehicles were sent to Ukraine but were useless for combat. Plus they claimed the vehicles cost three times what they actually were priced at.
So once again, Europe pledges to support but the actual support is much less than what they claimed.

These leaders are all phony’s and know damn well Putin isn’t going to invade any NATO country. If they really believed that, they wouldn’t be raping Ukraine with useless garbage. Bottom line is they also don’t want to make Russia mad at them and mess with current or future energy deals.
Trump was right about that too, yet they all laughed.
My guess would s tgat Ukraine will one day be known for the biggest money laundering scam in history… or maybe that would be Covid.
It's crazy that some people need NO PROOF to believe a lie, but DEMAND endless proof to accept the TRUTH.
Is NPR and the Ukrainian government itself a good enough source?

And K wants to give tens of billions to the US military industrial complex. We then ship our old military equipment to Ukraine. And corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs get rich selling it to others, possibly terrorists?
Prove your assertion that "Ukrainian oligarchs" are selling the weapons we send. Prove it.
Why do you want Putin to win, Fred? When did you become an admirer of dictators?
