Biden, Speaker Johnson, and Senator Schumer want to give tens of billions dollars in military aid. But DC wants to control the rules of engagement. Ukraine will not be permitted to attack Russian oil facilities.
So Ukraine isn't allowed to win against Russia, just allowed to let their citizens be bled dry. Earlier Yelensky wasn't even allowed to negotiate a peace with Moscow.

Russia just took out Ukraine's largest power plant in Kiev. I've yet to see anyone layout the strategy that would conclude with Ukraine winning this war. We will just pump more and more money in until the last Ukrainian fighter has been killed. This isn't anything more than just another form of virtue signalling. Our leaders know this is a lost cause but they need to keep dumping our money into that fire pit so it looks like we are doing something. It reminds me of the climate change scam.
