No the point isn't lost on me...but the way you go about expressing your opinion tends to cause me to have tunnel vision and to shoot first and ask questions later...

Had you merely voiced your displeasure with those people that play the "I was military, I'm better than you...vote for me 'cuz I'm a patriot" card instead of inferring that they (and you didn't generalize the "they", so that also means me) are and have been sucking off of the taxpayer's tit...I probably wouldn't have pulled out my firearm and shot first.

Okay this should be a great exercise. Go back to my original posting. I don't care if it is a word or a letter or a sentence that you want to use, but go back and show the rest of us the part that supports your statement. Seriously.

This will demonstrate how a lib mind looks at something and sees what it wants to see not what is there. How it looks to be offended where there is nothing.

And all I can say is if you do have a tendency to shoot first you are going to be sharing a bunk with bubba sooner or later.

Maybe bubba's bunk is where I want to be. So the insult doesn't work with me...neither did "Your Mama wears combat boots".

We're still waiting. Probably won't hold our breath though.

This explains the mindless rambling and irrational conclusions. See a doctor before it is too late

Good lad - that's precisely what I was speaking of. I'm sorry to hear that those bullies sodomized you, and I completely understand the transference of that anger to one who is trying to help you. I had no idea lad that you were so abused, and for so long, you must have many more tales to tell and we are here to listen to each and every one of them that you care to share. No wonder that you puff your chest and screech obscenities. Fictional representations are a common release in such instances. Rest assured I take no personal offense at them. I know they are the product of a tortured mind and stunted emotional development. Like I said lad, I have the patience of a saint with special needs individuals. It will be a long journey to health for you, but I will be right there beside you every step of the way.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Baileyboy wrote: Tell me something, because it is obvious that the point of this thread is lost on you. When you want to express an opinion on something you have a passion for (you name it). Do you start in to your opinion with, "Well I served in the military, so don't you dare question me or my point of view or my patriotism" or do you state your case based on the merits of the subject you are discussing. Because something tells me with you it is the latter.

I really don't care what you(generic) have or haven't done in service of your country if you are going to behave like an ass and do something that is to the detriment of a single individual or the entire nation. Military service is not a "Get out of Jail Free" card.

And if you served and retired I say you earned it. That is totally different to serving a single enlistment contract and then using that as a key to the gate to lucrative govt. civilian jobs. Those jobs are on the taxpayer tit as are the retirement benefits. And people who do those jobs have no clue how the real world works. They are insulated. And therefore I have a problem with people who have never spent a day worrying about their pay check bouncing due to the efforts of millions of taxpayers who don't have that guarantee, spouting off on things that will inhibit businesses and people from being able to make a living. I have no time for the "I've got mine so FU" attitude displayed by some.

I am simply pointing out that a military uniform doth not a patriot make. I hope this clears this up for you.
