Wasn't Wayne the original founder of PC? I moved here in 1995 and a few years after that discovered PC, I loved it but it changed so much that I didn't even participate much anymore, so again , I am glad there is this alternative plus facebook which I am a big fan of .

Welcome. And yes, I was the original founder of PC. After turning it over to a board and directors five years and watching a few board members in action I tried many times to try and change their course. Recent events of this year finally made me realize I was tilling a windmills. I left Pinecam for good yesterday after the folks at 285Bound asked for my input and help.
I'm glad you like the Facebook page. That's my doing. I got put up in a few hours after getting the go head from 285Bound. It's a great way to reach potential members who may not be aware of the site. I believe PC is still kicking around whether to have a FB presence. One board member said she'd rather eat ground glass than have a FB page. That's another thing that showed me just how out of touch they are. "My Way Or The Highway" is not a good business model.
This very much reminds me of the inauspicious beginnings of Pinecam in the 90s. I hope it does for you, too.
