CONIFER VFW BREAKFAST AUGUST 21 TO HELP TSAC

Regardless of anyone's political leanings, anything that supports the troops in a meaningful way is always going to be in the forefront of the causes I will always support. If you haven't been there and done that, I ask you to consider what it takes everyday (all day, 24 hours of everyday) to be a service man or woman. These people work their butts off many risking their lives in the process everyday, all day long, to ensure we continue to enjoy the lifestyle and freedoms many just assume they are entitled to as citizens of the United States of America.

It's a shame that there is a rift between members of 285bound and PC but that is the reality, in this case I'm more than willing to cross the picket lines and do the right thing for the benefit of all service members who will benefit from our combined contributions. Anyone who wants to take me to task for that is welcome to address me personally.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Yes I do know the answers to these questions, however, if they dont feel the need to post here, I dont feel the need to support thier cause. I am banned from Pinecam, thus I wont support their auxililarary causes.
If you want to support the troops, there are a variety of ways to do so, and a variety of ways to support the wives and babies left home alone. Anyone want to start something?

I can understand your reasoning, but you also get a pretty damn good breakfast. Regardless I support TSAC and still support the troops as my son is one of them. Before anyone goes off the deep end (oh sorry that would only be me) let me talk to them into coming over here and posting here also. It is a win win for both sides by doing so.

That would be stellar of you navy - thank you! We'd love to have them!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

285Bound picnic is this Saturday!

Bring your donations for TSAC to the picnic, and you won't have to worry about getting them to TSAC on Sunday, while you are nursing a hangover <evil grin>

Sounds good, but if you are straped for cash read the OP, "You bring 4 items on their list per person, and we will give you a free breakfast. "

Gotta agree with that great breakfast. A good cause is a good cause no matter who stands behind it.
