Like I said....you are obsessed. Please spare us your fake concern for those school children. The GOP wants cuts in government....well they got cuts, and you still whine and complain. They can't, however, force cuts in Obama's personal expenses....really annoys you doesn't it?

Since the issue thread here is the reduction of FEDERAL expenditures to a level consistent with the ability of the American people to pay, this is really not a political issue. Like Great Britian circa 1945 after Hitler bled Pax Britiania in the ER of WWII combat, the USA is massively overextended at home and abroad........we fix it in three ways: improve the economy and collect more taxes accordingly, raise taxes to feed the monster, or cut expenditures..........there is no fourth or fifth way. The political mess is driven by the philosophical discussion of taxes and expenditures and a subcategory of "guns or butter". The spectre of power WDC lies as a blanket over these discussions and the manipulation of information using the mass media is a tool in the battle. The philosophical discussion started in the 1960s and the camps have well honed positions and tools to carry the fight accordingly. There will be only ONE looser- the American people and no winners in this tussle.
Two players as issues are also at the table: the decimation of American education when we need a solid cadre of skilled people to compete and the open borders that flood the nation with unskilled , needy pseudo- citizens. Both drivers continue to pump the lower classes with dysfunctional labor.....even if many are well "educated" by our standards.

We face in the next decade (politics aside) challenges as a nation never seen before and our leaders are in retreat at every level.....the solutions will be forthcoming if creative, energetic non-establishement leaders emerge. Examples IMHO: Gavin Neusom, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Elliot Spitzer, Marco Rubio.........not political or ethnic............ignore the East Coast failed models BTW and look to the West for innovation and energy.....maybe there is some hope.

OH....BTW...do sequestration 3-4 more times and reduce the bloated, entitled government at all levels..........

Doesn't annoy me at all that he is whining and dining beltway RINO's and sending his wife and daughters on expensive ski vacations while more Americans then ever are on foodstamps. Just shows how he is all talk.

No "or"'s here. We must do all three, improve the economy, cut expenses and raise taxes. It is our unwillingness to take our medicine that is drawing this out. They are our bills and we must pay them, no matter the expense and loss of benefits involved. The right is just as much in the wrong as the left, neither Santa wants to take back his gifts.

I think that means they've figured out that trying to attack the Obamas for their privately paid-for birthday party isn't working...So, let's deflect to:

"The sky is falling"...and the stuff they ran on in 2012, that was resoundingly defeated in the election, is "the only way" to avoid blight, hunger and locust plagues...

There actually IS a "fourth and fifth" way--the fourth being the SANE one: You bring in additional revenue by closing SOME of the $1.3 TRILLION in loopholes that only benefit the 1%'ers, while making cuts to some of the pork...(A great deal of which is in the military and tied to sweetheart-deals in the various districts of Congressmen who are fighting for their personal piece of the pork.) Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid have NOT ADDED ONE-DOLLAR TO THE DEFICIT, and are therefore NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ONE DOLLAR of the current budget. Close the BIG loopholes that let corporations escape with ZERO taxes, (the "Double Irish With a Dutch Sandwich" loophole...That was $80 BILLION over 3 years); close the "Facebook loophole", (they not only paid ZERO taxes, but got $429 Million BACK, and then sidestepped another $2.17 BILLION on shares of stock incentives they used for questionable deductions); close the "Carried Interest" loophole that lets slimebags like Mitt-Flop get away with hiding HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS off-shore, and paying less than 13% on what he DOES declare; and close the loophole that lets hedge-fund managers get away with paying capital-gains rates on ordinary income....BILLIONS there too.... And that's just a FEW of them!!!

And these Randroids want to make seniors, disabled, and VETERANS PAY so these clowns can have their deductions?!?! I don't friggin' think so.....

Bernie Sanders is proposing the very thing I've been saying all along: Raise (or eliminate) the top cutoff point for SS taxes on income, (which is currently $160,800), and SS will be solvent for the next 50-100 years.

OH...BTW...and we get rid of more of these teabagger-clowns in the next Congress and watch the GOTP merrily march into the sunset.....

When the Dems get one party rule in 2014 watch them make excuses for not going after corporations. The Dems know how beholden they are to the 1%r's. They didn't go after them in 2008 or 2009 either.

Yeah...and "Yo' momma wears combat boots"....

Look for the GOTP and the 'Baggers to cease having much relevance in 2014...and 2016... As the Denver Post publisher said the other day, "I don't think we'll see another Republican president in my lifetime."

But ya gotta love the "Paul Ryan budget" that he's pushing today... It's based on three things: 1) Obama being a one-term president; 2) Romney/Ryan winning in 2012; and 3) Repealing Obamacare...

 :rofllol

Free tours of the White House cancelled. 500k to get access to Obama? They take both cash and plastic.

You need some new "I-hate-the-Obamas"/rage-material...

:Snooze

Since we know you actually "care" about "all those children that won't get to take the tour" about as much as you suddenly developed a concern for "aborted black babies" on the anniversary of Roe V. Wade...
