The kid was 3 years old. Call child services? That seems like a very progressive thing to say. I can not decide if the outrage from the right is just political opportunism or if the world has left me that far behind. There was a time when bare bottomed baby pictures were de rigueur. Now Mrs. Grundy is everywhere.

"This may sound funny, but I have been asked to photograph a 6-month old baby bare bottomed by a nervous parent. She is as concerned, as am I that it could be regarded pornography. She has had all of her other children professionally photographed (on a plush rug-bare bottom up), and just wants to have all 4 of them recorded this way. This is completely innocent, but there was an instance in this area (Boston) a few years ago where they came and took the mother away in handcuffs for photographing her own child in the "buff"....

I probably need to add that my post is addressed specifically to the reaction to that photo not to his overall pattern of behavior.

BB, Appreciate your point of view. This was not a call for political correctness, personally, I would have preferred that Huma confronted Weiner and hit him with a frying pan. Using your son in a sexting scam is much different from photographing the 6 mo old baby bottoms. ( As an aside, one of my fellows and his wife, after seeing our black bear skin rug asked if they could bring their 6 m.o. baby, to be photographed on the rug.)
Update 8/31/16 5:45 PM it has been reported that child welfare services in NYC are investigating.

Sometime ago I posted that a close look should be taken at the VP candidates due to the ages and health (Hillary) of the Presidential nominees. Having viewed the ("right hand person" as Kaine described himself at the opening of the debate,), II am of the conclusion that we cannot leave our children and grandchildren a nation governed by Clinton/Kaine.
