House managers want President Trump to speak at his trial. It must so pain the Donald to turn down one last opportunity to speak before Congress. He loves the limelight and attention.

LOL, no Fred, the people who are seeking attention are the morons dragging us through this bullshit yet again.
No, morons are not dragging us through this again. Reasonable people have been forced to impeach this nihilistic, sociopathic liar once again. It had to be done, damn the torpedos - full speed ahead!
OK, he may not be convicted, but he will go down in history as one of the most divisive, incompetent presidents that the United States of America ever survived. And yes, we did survive it, because our beloved country is resilient. A breath of fresh air is blowing through our country. Can you feel it?
Trump is guilty and should feel shame, but he doesn't see it that way. Since we can assume there will be no apology or acceptance of responsibility, there will also be no real healing or transformation from the divisiveness he has created. Yes, it is time to move on - hallelujah! But it simply can not stand that Trump did what he did and is not at least held up to public scrutiny for his actions. So there are not 67 votes in the Senate to convict, and, when all is said and done, we move on - great! I am so ready to move on from the lies, the demand for loyalty over truth, the name-calling, the lack of basic civility, the dark cult of personality, etc., etc., etc. History, and ultimately the truth, will surely judge Trump harshly!
Here's the "trend" or transit prediction.....his chart shows he WILL BARELY escape conviction...BUT,
come spring/summer the "citizen TRUMP' will be in over his head in LEGAL MATTERS THAT WILL NOT TURN OUT TERRIFIC.....he will have many legal cases against him,and THOSE he will NOT escape.....
the R"s are spineless, but our LEGAL system is not...AGAIN, impeachment is NOT a LEGAL process,
but SDNY has LEGAL,LETHAL claws and he will be "taken" by their talons.

Pronouncements of guilt without a trial are the mainstay of dictators and totalitarians. What say you about the facts? Are they just inconvenient things to be discarded in favor of passion? The facts are pretty clear. There was no incitement to violence in Trump's speech. The incursion into the Capitol happened while Trump was still speaking, 45 minutes away. The incursion was pre-planned on solcial networks - mainly Facebook.
Let's be clear. This is an act of revenge for imagined offenses that simply did not occur. If anythin, far from moving on, this trial will serve to further divide an already divided country. Who profits from that? Not us. While we are watching this spectacle sham trial, China Joe will further sell us out to the highest bidder.

LET US LOOK AT THE TOTALITY OF WORDS SPOKEN BY TRUMP,LEADING UP TO THE TRASHING
OF THE CAPITOL......(and there are MORE than enough to incite.)
Let's be clear - Trump incited this insurrection, he is responsible for the attack - this attempted coup - on our democracy. Trump needs to be held accountable, or else the next authoritarian that the Republicans thrust upon the country will think they can do whatever they want without any penalty.
HAHA! Orwell called them the Ministry of Truth. You call them "fact checkers". At any rate, there is NO evidence in that article of anything other than Trump RIGHTLY claiming there was election fraud and pleading his case. He never once called for violence, unlike many on the left, which I have documented repeatedly.
