New developments: 2 separate investigations going on. Robert Mueller's federal task force which recently impaneled a grand jury, and New York Attorney General Eric Schniederman with three state level investigations into Trump and associates that overlap: the Trump Modeling Agency and human trafficking, Russian organized crime, and money laundering.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington to investigate Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections, a sign that his inquiry is growing in intensity and entering a new phase, according to people familiar with the matter.

But there’s another investigation happening, and if Trump or his aides (including his three children, Ivanka, Don Jr. & Eric) are found guilty, he won’t be able to use his pardoning power — because that investigation is being conducted by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman who has previously taken Trump on and won.

Washington (CNN) - A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.
The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.
