Democrats say that Republican complaints about the process are simply unwarranted. Republicans on the three committees — Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight — have equal time to question witnesses.
Schiff has said that the committee will release transcripts and hold public hearings, but said they are conducting the fact-finding part of the investigation, like a grand jury before a trial, that's done behind closed doors.
He's argued that keeping witness testimony private in the early stages prevents other witnesses from learning what others are saying and aligning their stories.

A quick recap of the conversation so you can catch up... Rick asked why this impeachment inquiry is being held without Republican input or any equal rights and SC answered by calling Republicans "man babies". Even though this response was childish and crass, I answered in a respectful tone citing evidence that Adam Schiff should probably not be the one in charge of this inquiry, which is what the article you read was about.
I answered by calling Congressional Republicans man-babies, and I stated that very deliberately, not Republicans in general. Judging by the Federal crime political stunt dozens of them committed today, several of them continue to prove me right.
Edit to add: I also provided evidence demonstrating how they were whining because 1/4 of House Republicans are full participants on the 3 committees conducting inquiries at this moment, and even Trey Gowdy knows that, he blocked Darrell Issa for trying to do the same thing during the Benghazi hearings.

When President Donald John Trump said he was pulling U.S. troops from Syria, the media and the Washington Establishment predicted genocide. The blood was on his hands, they said.
Once again, they were totally and completely wrong.
Instead, peace broke out. Shouldn't he get credit for forcing all sides to agree to peace?

If Obama told his sheep that we would be in Syria for 10 years, what would the sheep have said? Trump ran on getting us out of these wars that we have no way of ever ending, yet the left says we can't leave after a decade. It wasn't all that long ago when a common leftist rant told us that we should stop being the world police... then Obama changed their minds. Fascinating how that works.
