Democrats say that Republican complaints about the process are simply unwarranted. Republicans on the three committees — Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight — have equal time to question witnesses.
Schiff has said that the committee will release transcripts and hold public hearings, but said they are conducting the fact-finding part of the investigation, like a grand jury before a trial, that's done behind closed doors.
He's argued that keeping witness testimony private in the early stages prevents other witnesses from learning what others are saying and aligning their stories.

Edit to add: I also provided evidence demonstrating how they were whining because 1/4 of House Republicans are full participants on the 3 committees conducting inquiries at this moment, and even Trey Gowdy knows that, he blocked Darrell Issa for trying to do the same thing during the Benghazi hearings.

I answered by calling Congressional Republicans man-babies, and I stated that very deliberately, not Republicans in general. When President Donald John Trump said he was pulling U.S. troops from Syria, the media and the Washington Establishment predicted genocide. The blood was on his hands, they said.
Once again, they were totally and completely wrong.
Instead, peace broke out. Shouldn't he get credit for forcing all sides to agree to peace?
