Watched none of the debates......field has to be reduced considerably for me to get excited.
Seth Moulton WAS who I was watching....sad he did not get into debate.....the debates went down
the way I expected....not enough time/too many to speak.....so the result was not satisfying.
I would like to see a dark horse on the R'S side.....make it at least interesting.
I don’t give a damn where you were 60 years ago on civil rights. I don’t care if your great grand-pappy owned slaves or you grew up in rural Louisiana and used the “N” word as often as a contemporary rapper. I can’t get vexed about 2000 children at the border not getting enough facial tissue and diapers when tens of thousands of American children are sleeping on the streets and in shelters of our cities.
What I want is a president who is going to work for America, whose reputation is grounded by the present, and whose concerns are sharply focused on the future, America’s future.
The sine qua non of great candidates is not where they stood on racism in 1963 but where they stand on America today!
As of April 2019, there were 22,000 children sleeping in NYC’s municipal shelters. On any given night, half a million Americans are homeless. Some 40% of them are minors.
So, while you are raising your hands to give health care to illegal aliens and feeling virtuous in the process, what the hell are you doing about the problems impoverished Americans face?

bolded....GROUNDED is the operative word....something I do NOT see in the King. (Nor
anyone else so far)
Will John Hickenlooper be the FIRST democrat candidate to drop out? I thought that he could at least be standing after others had dropped out. Ignominious retreat to say the least. I surmise that running for senator against Cory Gardner will be his consolation prize. But that will anger the 10+ that have announced their candidacy against Gardner.
Come'on John, you should at least outlast Williamson, Klobuchar, and Yang. Don't embarrass Colorado. As governors do, I bet that Colorado would outlast Minnesota, Rocky Mountain Oysters v. smoked white trout. Little did I think that Bennet would be my only hope to win my bet with a friend in MN.

I never perceived his bid to be a valid consideration.....NO FIRE projected to the public. JMO
John Hickenlooper is too moderate for the modern Democrat-Socialist Party. Someone with decades of experience in business isn't wanted. The party members prefer empty promises. I love when Senator Sanders promises to guarantee a living wage for all Americans. He would be POTUS if he won, not a dictator. Any living wage bill would have to go through Congress.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Hickenlooper’s problem isn’t that he’s too moderate, it’s that he’s unknown outside of CO. He didn’t hire a good enough team to help him boost his visibility early enough, now they’re bailing because they know he’s toast, and he’s apparently surrounding himself with CO loyalists which won’t end well.
Running for POTUS is 95% marketing, 3% personality, 2% history. Give or take a little.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
