Biden's Border "Victory"

Interesting question, Fred. I don't think you can compare the two though. Florida was never taken over by the left like this state has suffered from. The governor and mayors of this state will just come up with more programs that take money from taxpayers and give it to illegals. That creates a dependency which eventually turns into loyal voters. If Democrat voters feel enough pain it may turn around, but by that time the damage will have already been done and it will be hard to reverse.

Let me ask what the Republicans big plan is to curb illegal immigration. What is Trump's plan?

More importantly, if the border situation is such an emergency, why isn't Congress doing something about it? They have the power to craft new laws to deal with the situation, why haven't they?

Simply, President Trump's immigration plans include establishment of the policies that his administration had instituted prior to Biden, closer of the border to all illegals, deportation of all illegals from the U.S. for starters.
the House of Representatives has passed an immigration reform bill but the democrat Senate refuses to bring it to the floor of the Senate. That's how a representative form of government works. Ask Schumer why he refuses to take up the bill.

More likely, it's because Republicans in Congress refuse to do jack s**t to actually solve the crisis other than bitch about it. They don't want to give Biden a "win" that might help him defeat Trump.

If they were serious, and this was an real crisis, they would actually do something rather than posturing for political gain.

Do what?
I proffered that plan that President Trump will out in place now it is your turn to put forth your solutions to this problem. You would be better served elucidating concrete proposals rather that ad hominem attacks that show your lack of knowledge of the subject.

A bipartisan group of Americans consider illegal aliens a huge problem. The Biden Administration? Other than assigning the issue to Kamala Harris has only made the problem worse. 40,000 illegals in Denver, a town of 710,000. This is an invasion and might be the reason Trump beats Joe.

If you've been paying attention, the Democrats refuse to do anything that discourages people around the world from illegally entering our country. The Democrats want to process people faster and that's where tey want the money spent. Republicans want to shut the border down (Biden said he would shut it down if Congress made a deal). The deal is to allow 5000 illegal crossings a day, which turns out to be about 2 million a year.

So, if one side wants the border open and the other side wants it closed, how can there be compromise. Meanwhile, we have people waiting for years to come in through the LEGAL process.

A bipartisan group of Senate negotiators have been working to hammer out an immigration measure, but Trump stepped in to stop the deal. He obviously intends to run on fears of immigration in 2024, since he has nothing else to run on. Republicans are falling into line behind Trump, putting the border deal, as well as more funding for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, at risk.

Republicans are in the awkward position of insisting that the United States is in terrible danger from a border crisis, but that they don’t want to solve that crisis for almost a year or more, waiting until 2025 when they expect Trump to be in office.

Perhaps if you laid out the actual Senate "plan", we could discuss whether or not it's a plan to stop illegal crossings, or if it's just a plan to get them checked in faster.

How come Presidents Trump and Obama were able to prevent illegal border crossings but not President Biden? Should he resign over his failures? Especially after he assigned the job to VP Harris.
