Democrats might say we are going into debt now to invest in our future. While Europe and other Western nation birthrates decline, the US population had its largest growth ever in one year. We will have new young people to take care of Generation X as it starts to retire.

Or we will be so indebted by then, half of taxes will be used to service the debt every year.
