Why is that? Why do more illegals start businesses than Americans?

The Republicans are SERIOUSLY going to regret this in coming elections. This was a no-brainer. Get the kids into college, get them an education (because we can use all the educated people we can get); get them into the service to serve the country, and the brass-ring is citizenship. Instead, as usual, they cut off their noses to spite their faces... The Hispanics are the next biggest minority block in the country, and getting larger all the time.

In this last election John McCain only got 29% of the Hispanic vote. In Nevada they went 90% for Harry Reid, and 8% for Angle...(Wow, what a surprise--after she insulted them at every turn, and then the GOP went on a campaign to suppress their vote). Guess how most of them are going to vote in 2012?

Yep, I hope the GOP keeps it up. (Maybe we'll get REALLY lucky, and Palin will win the priimary!.... Oh PLEASE!!!!!!)

Well, they don't have a social security number, which is needed to get a regular job.
Same reason so many illegals have house cleaning positions, lawn mowing companies are popular because they are mobile with no store front. Alterations, fortune telling are good ones because they can work out of their rented home. Another one is making tamales and selling them through legit stores. I've seem them for sale in beauty shops!

Whose dime would they go to college on? Our dime! You like that deal, then select an illegal young person, pay for their college education all by yourself while going through the process of making them a legal citizen. Like it, then put your money where your mouth is. While you're at it support that students family, all by yourself. Can't afford? Well, you're already doing that, we all are and we cannot afford to do it, any longer.

And if the program passes, they will get work-visas to get around that problem. It's only a problem right now because the GOP continues to make it so. This will come back to haunt them.

No, it a problem because they are illegal, as are their parents.

And it's not just "young people" Illegals up to 35 can apply.

If they want to be US citizens, they can return to their home country and apply via legal means.

You can scream "illegal" in larger type, but it doesn't address the situation that was being proposed in this law.

I'll repeat again, for those that have short attention spans: I'm AGAINST ILLEGAL ALIENS, and if they are encountered by law enforcement, then I wish them well at the border as they are being returned. However, to continue that policy against children who were brought here as infants and children and had no choice in it, there should be a better way.

Apparently the conservatives care only about the innocent unborn, not those innocent children who find themselves in the US through no fault of their own, the US is the only life many of them have known, but our compassionate conservatives would deny then the right to defend the nation they love, or use academic achievement to gain citizenship in the only home they have had. yep.....gotta love the compassion from the right.

It might be an illegal fighting for this nations freedoms, but conservatives are not about to share that freedom with those who would defend it for them.

Illegals don't need social security number to open bank accounts in the U.S.
