It's time for a traffic rant.

285 is a VERY dangerous highway......I think the stats prove this. PU Trucks seem to be the category in a hurry - several have almost rear ended me - in the right lane at 55 in perfect weather. There are several roads on 285 that run perpendicular into the slow lane - 265 has no taper or turn lane at many roads. A driver coming off 285 into these off roads must do so at a high rate of speed to avoid getting rear ended. A very dangerous highway.

Traffic is a system. You have to work with and not against the other drivers. It's selfish idiots who think they are special for whatever reason that cause 98% of the problems. It's not your job to discipline other drivers.

I've been all over the world and it doesn't get any better than 285..Its beautiful. 4 lanes divided, planned to perfection...It was bad but thanks to a little fedral government investment..Its great now

I truly have been many places out of the US. There certainly are MUCH worse than 285 but 285 remains dangerous. Enforcement of the 55MPH limit strictly will help a lot. The best I've seen is the autobahn.

I thought profiling was a bad thing.

I know someone that has major issues with BMW and Audi drivers. She swears they are all terribly mean drivers . It is profiling. And I think police tend to watch certain vehicles.
