This is a fire departments worst nightmare come true. To have personal identifying info posted on a local website about one of their own.

Unbelievable that this information would be posted on a website before the family could be notified and the information officially released.

It was also posted on radio reference. Becky, seriously you love PC now?

No...I don't love PC now.....but I do believe you give credit where credit is due. Cos did it right. He respected the privacy of the victim and their family and the fire departments that risk their lives in such a situation.
Radio reference is not a news organization.
The personal info of the situation should never have been mentioned before families could be notified.
I tried to protest this info privately but you dug in your heals so we will do it here.

edited to add....I also think radio reference was wrong but at least they aren't a "Community Website" who's family may be a user here reading this info.

Did I miss something regarding "personal identifying info" beyond the word "firefighter"?
