Barkley road is already a nightmare, 1/4" snow on top of ice, no sand or plowing yet. Avoid.

Candy K. 7:00pm
285 is very slick, snowy, slow going and not recommended for travel if you don't have to!

Good morning folks its February weather in April, 4 degrees in Evergreen. Sheldon has a truck stuck on the first corner coming up from 43 its not really a road hazard unless you meet someone else coming up while your headed down 43 is snowpacked and unplowed 285 is snowpacked and has been plowed there is a truck and trailer across from the deer valley wedding venue that is stuck and the trailer is in the road a couple feet 73 is snowpacked and has been plowed. There is a van in the road facing the wrong direction just up from Brook Forrest turn have a great day

Pine Junction to c470 4-4:40am. Snow packed over ice. Plows are out, but the packed snow is thick. No trouble in 4WD with good tires, but also very little traffic at that time. Same conditions but more wet on the 70 East through Denver to 225 intersection. Pena to the airport pretty clear.

Got a little dusting of snow last night roads are good except for the spots that didn't melt yesterday( mostly in the trees on 43) if you've ever stepped on ice with a dusting of snow on it well you'll be on your backside wondering what the hell just happened

73 was slick slush. A couple people sliding a little.

Ryan L. 6:48am
As of 6:40am 43 to 285 was just wet. 285 to Pine was also just wet. But once you pass the light roads get gross and super slick. Poor visibility too. Only came to Kings Valley so I can’t say what it’s like further down the road.

Chris B. 6:35am
My wife started her drive down around 530. She said it was snowing hard and she slid a few times, even in her winter tires. It was only raining when she got to 470

Kelsey T. 6:30am
Hubby just said at top of Windy Point going towards Conifer (285 SB) is pretty much blocked (not sure if it’s completely blocked) by multiple semis and several other vehicles are having issues past that (towards 470) going SB. He said he had to slow down going NB at Windy Point but other than that not terrible.

Andi R. 6:05am
North Turkey snow covered NB 285 snow/ slush until tiny town

Clif B. 5:45am
Good morning as of 415 this morning 43 and 285 are just wet 73 is starting to ice up in spots ,snow gets heavier the closer you get to town snowing pretty hard in Evergreen as of 530 am

Joe O. 5:45am
Kings valley to 470, snow packed and slick

Corey B. 5:45am
Just drove from Aspen Park to Littleton. Snow was really starting to come down heavy so lane visibility was gone. Changes over to rain by Indian Hills. Saw one plow heading up the canyon so hopefully things will improve.

Whiteout conditions from Aspen Park till about Gerber auto body for me. Changing to rain with some hydroplaning possible in spots. Drive safe!

Casey A. 5:45am
5am Aspen Park to Twin Forks: snow covered, pavement only visible in the right lane, speeds ~40 mph. Wet roads from the canyon to C470.

Two plows going SB from the canyon at 5:15

Amy B. 5:45am
My husband is traveling from County Road 43 down to Denver. He says that around Staunton State Park it is slick as snot, and to be super careful. He traveled through at about 5:20 AM

Dan M. 5:45am
Slick from conifer to the canyon

Shelly R. 7:50am
I am struggling and I have blizzaks. The slush is thick and nothing but ice underneath

Gisele H. 7:43am
Conifer to highlands ranch. 285 slushy but not too bad. Just go slow.

Joerg 7:38am
At least 7 cars and semis spun out or stuck right at Windy Point curve SB, heavy fog has rolled in.

Grace K. 7:10am
126 up to Pine Junction is mostly rain, then at the top is snowing. Gets more sketchy on 285 towards Conifer.

Just drove from Homestead to CHS via WJMS and back. Left at 7:00 am and SB 285 was a $#!% show from Windy Point on. Semis and trucks parked in right lane solid and kept that lane from being plowed. Side roads in Conifer not touched either. Snow plow in the ditch by the HS. Return trip via 285 NB was WAY better. 285 wet and slushy but looked liked plows had finally been by. Plow by the HS was in the process of being pulled out. Semis and trucks were for the most part out of the right SB lane at WP. Foggy in spots after WP going NB but conditions improved greatly after the fire station. Stay safe!
