Bloomberg has so many ways to buy the democrat , it is amazing.
"Yet, endorsements are pouring in for Bloomberg mainly from mayors. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner lauded Bloomberg as someone who recognized the need to invest in people and places. Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa called Bloomberg someone who wants to increase the quality of life for all and ex-Flint Mayor Karen Weaver suggested a potential Bloomberg presidency would focus on clean air and clean water. More than 100 other U.S mayors are part of Bloomberg’s Mayors for Mike campaign.
Why are all these endorsements rolling in? Graft or, at least, the appearance of it.
A search of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ annual report and the Mayors for Mike campaign finds a rather astonishing crossover between names. At least eight mayors endorsing Bloomberg’s run for president are from cities that received money from Bloomberg Philanthropies. These include the aforementioned Turner and Villaraigosa..." I am waiting for the first "superdelegate" to endorse Bloomberg. What might that price be?

There is a new poll out of Nevada, Steyr is leading there! But many are doubting the polls accuracy.
Bloomberg is paying his staff about twice as much as other candidates. The conservative press could have a lot of fun with this. "Bernie promises higher wages but his people earn half what Bloomberg's do!" "Sanders underpays his campaign workers while he has three homes."

WashingtonPost.com 2/19/20 Op-Ed by Julia Azari, professor, political science Marquette University.
"A process in which intermediate representatives — elected delegates who understand the priorities of their constituents — can bargain without being bound to specific candidates might actually produce nominees that better reflect what voters want.
But the kinds of processes that we associate with more open and high-quality democracy may not actually help parties produce nominees that really reflect the party’s overall concerns. Democracy thrives on uncertainty — outcomes that are not known at the beginning of the process. But uncertainty doesn’t help parties strategize for the general election."

It seems to me that she is arguing for a representative democracy (Horrors! A Republic). Until I read this:
“better primary system would empower elites to bargain and make decisions, instructed by voters.”
The designation "ELITE" is decided by whom?

"It’s a very odd race, too. Neither Bloomberg nor Sanders was a registered Democrat until recently. Both are Jewish and white 78-year-old New Yorkers. One is a gruff billionaire mogul with a reported eight houses, the other a gruff socialist millionaire with three houses."

@RealSaavedra
Bloomberg: “Let’s just go on the record. They talk about 40 Democrats, 21 of those were people that I spent $100 million to help elect. All of the new Democrats that came in, put Pelosi in charge, and gave the Congress the ability to control this president, I bought – I got them”
I cannot imagine spending the $$dollars that Bloomberg is spending.

As a corporate person, do you really think a committee of twenty-five in better than one of five?
