Pretty awful in South Park right now. Just saw a 1/2 ton pickup spin all the way across the road, nr MM 178. He was not driving recklessly, and was lucky to stay on the road.

285 traveling south of Fairplay is rough. I went 40mph from town to 4 mile fishing club neighborhood.

Getting slick by Safeway on 285. Be safe

285 is a disaster already. Several spin outs and backed up past Richmond Hill already. Avoid at all possible.

Coming down hard at WP, we got over an inch within 30 min.
Lanes are still mostly wet, but I see some accumulation in the curves headed NB. Be safe out there!

The wife is coming up Kennedy Gulch and Conifer Mtn Road. Very slick and no sign of plowing or sanding. Be careful!!

4pm: Pleasant Park to 470: Conifer is slushy but improves the further down the hill you go. There are a couple of random icy spots coming around Windy Point so be ready for them,l. Highway was just wet once you get to Mariposa and barely that coming through the canyon. 470 is dry. I did see plows on 285. Be safe.

CSP is now on accident alert.

Scanner: exercise extreme caution on roads around Hwy 285, very slick.

Traffic is now backed up heading southbound from Richmond Hill to Foxton Rd. and at a standstill per travelers. Jack-knifed semi reported near Richmond Hill Rd.*
*Edit to update: now reported as a semi stopped in the right lane.

Hwy. 285 SB at a crawl south of hwy. 73 junction

Icy roads from Richmond Hill to Pine Junction. They were plowed at one point but they were super slick. Sim eyes are pulling over to put chains on cars that do not have all wheel drive or four-wheel-drive were sliding and all over the place. From Pine Junction to Harris Park the roads were better.. somebody took note of the accidents and issues from last storm and laid good amounts of sand on the road making traction and the drive home nice!! Thank you to whoever that was!!

285 & 126 (& my driveway) in Pine are awful .. snowy/deep slush/slick. All stops and turns were treacherous - even taking things super slow.

Just drove WP to Hwy 73. NB closed by 3 plows blocking all 3 lanes while a tow truck is recovering a vehicle that went down embankment further up near Stop4Gas. SB open and clear.

At about 4:00 p.m. Richmond Hill is slicker than snot on a door knob... a fairly thick sheet of ice that even the plow trucks were slipping upon. Not all vehicles were equipped to get to the top. But things got better past the Kum & go. CDot is plowing, magging and sanding.
