Just got home from the Self Reliance EXPO. Collected lots of info. Nothing that new for me, but my wife and I have been doing most of this for about 14 yrs. now. Good for those new to the concept of self reliance though.
Heartless could you share some of the highlights from the self reliance expo. Thanks.
IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!
“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles
I didn't attend any of the speaker events, so no comments there. The majority of vendors were either local (Colorado) or Utah and Idaho. There were only a couple survival oriented booths and they were items like folding shovels (entrenching tool), knives, and backpacking/ camping gear. One also offered training. One had rain water capture tanks and plans. One had ATVs including track drive systems. Many food and storage vendors. Sprouting, herbs and honey vendors. Several water filtration vendors. Portable and permanent solar and wind power vendors. Following is the link for the event. Also a couple radio stations and web broadcast sites.

I didn't sign up for either National Geographic or Discovery channel auditions.
Here is a link to a video by one of the presenters at the expo.
