I have a Kel-Tec 9mm that I very rarely carry concealed. What a piece of crap, horrible trigger, cheap, less than $300 wholesale. But it does hold a lot of ammo for its size (10+1) and it will conceal almost anywhere.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
The report states that George Zimmerman's gun "was placed into evidence" and not returned to him, and the scene of the shooting was secured with crime scene tape. This directly conflicts with statements made by civil rights activists, including Rev. Jesse Jackson, who had claimed the Sanford, Fla., police department "didn't even bother to put yellow tape around the murder scene when he died—that's how much the police did to find out what happened to this young boy."
Martin's height and weight is listed at 6', 160 lbs. Only Zimmerman's height is listed at 5'9" but from the police video he looks to be about 170 lbs which his friend claims. Quite different from initial claims that Zimmerman outweighed Martin by 100 lbs.
The second officer on the scene apparently spent most of his time trying to revive Martin which may explain why he didn't give a description of Zimmerman's condition. The first officer there had to deal with getting Zimmerman's gun and cuffing him, and he's the one that mentioned the blood on the nose and back of the head plus the moisture and grass on the back of Zimmerman's coat.
Would that be the same Zimmerman that was told in an orientation/briefing session by the Homeowner's Association, (provided by the police department): "1) You are NOT a vigilante; 2) Do NOT pursue anyone; 3) Do NOT carry a weapon." (The PD was just forced to give up the copy of the PowerPoint slide presentation that was used in the training; so these points are not disputable.)
Would that be the same Zimmerman that was told by the dispatcher to stand-down, "We don't need you to do that?"
